1. Keep passwords secret and also up to date
2. Don’t share unnecery needed information about your self
3. Make sure you understand what private policy that is included
4. Always know who you add as a friend
5. Never say what you wouldn't say in life
6. Never post or tell any information you don't want to be seen
7. Make sure that any email you acquire is authentic 
8. Just because your friends have done it does not mean you should to
9. Almost every thing you do is acquiring information about your self
10.  

with all that is out there you can never be to sure what is fully safe or not. there are many ways to be tricked or lured in to giving up your personal information. there are ways to prevent that some are listed above you can find more on the Youth Privacy website. with all the hacker crimanals and other things that lurk in the inter net you can never be to sure what is truly safe. so try to keep information you don't want seen off anything.
